- Always be nice to everyone. If you are always nice, even to those you hate, you give people no reason to dislike you. Then if someone for some reason does dislike you, others will think that person is crazy! If you are always kind, gracious, and giving, your superiors will appreciate it when they realize everyone should act like you do. You will always be peoples go to person, which in the beginning may be annoying, but after awhile you will notice it is worth the benefits. You will be invited to everything, more people will remember who you are, they will be slightly happier for just the smile that you give them.
- Say yes to the little things. Making people happy by the little things you do that make there lives easier will get you far. Say if someone really needs a shift covered at work and you know you are not busy, say yes (if it's a one time thing). They will be so gracious and will already feel as if they owe you. For another example, what if someone you know really needs a ride somewhere, like the airport. If you know you have nothing planned, take them there. Even something as small as someone needing there shoe tied while their hands are full will make a person gracious. So then when you finally ask someone for a favor they will have no reason to say no and if they do say no, they will feel guilty.
- Have good stories from having adventures. No one likes a boring person or someone wasting their time with a boring story. Live your life and do exciting things! Such as traveling, sky diving, road trips, etc. Even just doing these adventurous things once will have you remembered. People will want to hear your stories because people like to hear about things they wish they would have done themselves. People live through others adventures. By being that other person you automatically become the person people want to talk to at a party or get together. By seeming so exciting, people will gladly give you what you want.

3 Ways to Get What You Want
A Recipe For You
So today I baked clafouti aux pommes or in English apple clafouti. It is a French dish, a dessert, or even a breakfast item if you choose. This clafouti you can even make with other fruits such as pears and berries. I thought for my first time baking this dish from scratch, it turned out quite nice. I will admit I through a fit when I flipped it over and some of my apple moved and my clafouti no longer had a perfect appearance but other than that it was quite successful. So for anyone who is interested here is the recipe I went with. It ended up being a modification and combination of two recipes I found online. This is somewhat of a list, a list of ingredients to create a delicious, pretty healthy French dish. Here goes it:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of flour
1/3 + 2tbls of sugar
3 eggs + 1 egg yolk
2 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1 cup of milk
-This is all for the batter, which is supposed to be thin.
2 granny smith apples, cored and sliced.
1/4 cup of sugar
A splash of vanilla
1/3tbls of butter
-Put all this in a skillet to soften the apples
-Then arrange apples in a pie or cake dish and pour the batter over it. Then put in the oven set to 400 degrees. It took mine 35 min before the tooth pick came out clean.

10 Most Recently Popular Songs In My Collection
So I'm leaving my computer at home for the next couple of days, 2.5 hours away from me, so that I can hopefully fully focus on my finals. I did manage to study as much as my focus allowed, which was more then usual. So I'm satisfied for now. Just to get another post in since its been a few days and since I won't be posting for another few days I figured I'd let anyone who reads this know what I've been listening to recently since I just enjoy music so much and I just downloaded 2 GB worth while I was home. I would also suggest listening to all the music on this list. Anyways, the most played songs within the last week in my music stash:
- Raise Your Glass by Pink
- Last Night by Good Charlotte
- Snuff by Slipknot
- Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance
- Fallen Leaves by Billy Talent
- Lost In Darkness by Escape the Fate
- Omnos by Eluveitie
- Should We Fight Back by The Parlotones
- Think of You Later by Every Avenue
- You Be The Anchor That Keeps My Feet On The Ground by Mayday Parade

Oh, The Places You'll Go
So today I'm heading home to study for finals and I am currently sitting in the train station waiting for the train to come. I still have awhile to wait however. I am one of those people that hates to be late. I also hate it when other people are late. I must be on time for everything and I even prefer to be early if possible. That is one reason why I do not like having to rely on other people to drive me around this include the public transportation system. So I figured while I'm sitting here waiting for the train I would create a list of things I need to get done this weekend.
- Study for my finals. The whole reason that I am taking the train home to get some peace and quiet away from my roommates who don't know how to be quiet at the right times.
- See my BFF for her birthday and hope that she enjoys the gift I got her.
- EAT GOOD FOOD.
I know it's a short list but it's simple and to the point and it is what is most important to get done. However since I am sitting in a train station I figured I could also have a more whimsical list of the interaction with people I have already had today and since I am heading into Chicago, I'm sure I will interact with many other people before I am at my house:
- An older gentlemen who told me he is going to Arizona in a sleeper car from Chicago.
- A sort of creepy guy who sat next to me on the bus who said to me 'Where ya going sweet mademoiselle?' I think he was just trying to be nice but then he started talking to me about driving a motorcycle or something.
- The women at the Amtrak ticket counter. Let me use my ticket from October that I didn't use.
- The women at the TJ maxx check out. Nothing special about her, just thought I would point out that she was normal and not rude.
- The security guy at the Bon Ton who let me go when all of my bags and such set off the alarms. He just laughed at me when they all went off.

Pictures to Ponder.
I really enjoy taking pictures with my Nikon D40. They are pretty amateur and by no means do I consider myself a professional photographer or even a photographer for that matter. I just like to take pictures and work with angles. I also really like pictures of the sky. So here are some pictures for your eyes to peer at that I have taken recently:

5 Ways to Chill Out
Just like most people are this time a year, I have been incredibly stressed out the last couple weeks and especially this last week. So I have composed a list of ways to chill out and relax.
- Take a Second to Think- what are you frustrated about? Take a deep breath and think, how can I change this? Maybe it's a work related problem, vent to a friend. Maybe it's a friend problem, is it worth being frustrated about? If yes maybe it's time to re-evaluate the friendship. Maybe it's a relationship problem, once again, is it worth being upset about? Maybe your problem requires a pro con list or just a good day of vegging out. There is always a solution.
- Work Out- turn that anger and frustration into something that will benefit you. You feel as though you just vented out all your frustrations to a good friend plus feel exhilarated afterward. Your body will also thank you for the wake up and you may even feel motivated to continue exercising as a daily therapy. In my opinion the harder your workout, the better you will feel later.
- Watch your Favorite Movie- watching your favorite movie will remind you of the good. The good times spent watching the movie and the good people who may have watched the movie with you. Along with watching the film, you should pig out. Comfort food is called comfort food for a reason. So grab some ice cream or candy or even both and press play.
- Do Something!- do something you love to do but haven't been able to do for awhile. Maybe do something that you have always wanted to do. Just get up and do something, it will feel amazing to do something you have been missing or to get the thrill from something new. If your on edge with people even go do something by yourself. Then you can brag about it later. Now your asking what do I do? Maybe you like to browse the mall, head to the mall! Maybe you really like music, check out a local show! Perhaps you have always wanted to skydive, well hop to it! There is plenty to do that will keep your mind off the stress.
- Ignore your Cellphone- this is even hard for me. However, most likely your frustrations are coming from certain people acting certain ways and anybody else who interacts with you while your stressed is not going to help. If you just leave the cellphone alone for even just a half hour, maybe to do one of the other things I've mentioned, you will feel better and not bite off the head of the next person to contact you.

Best for Bordem
I get bored a lot. So often I am on the computer looking for new games to play. These are not just games, but also just good sources of mindless entertainment. They don't involve reading (except directions) and they don't really require much brain power. These just happen to be my favorite online games, the first one however beats them all and is in good spirit of the holidays:

Things To Do With a Bucket
I'm feeling whimsical today and I often make lists about random things, not usually useful but they may come in handy one day. So what to do with a bucket here we go:
- Grab two spoons and play the drums!
- Cut a hole in the bottom and use it as arm/leg armor.
- Fill it with jello and stick your feet in.
- Super glue wheels to the bottom and use it as a skateboard.
- Find a friend who has a bucket and take a road trip with the buckets and blog about the adventures.
- Color the outside with paint or sharpie then fill with dirt and put plants inside to grow!
- Set the bucket above the door filled with oatmeal and then watch it fall on someone when they walk through the door.
- Turn it over and use it as a seat/ recreate 'The Thinker' by Auguste Rodin
- Using multiple buckets, build a fort.
- Put a tracking device on the bucket, leave it on a busy street corner and see where it goes.
- Use it as a storage device for just about anything, even other buckets.
- If someone tries to attack you, put the bucket on their head and run away.
- If someone else tries to attack you, swing the bucket around until it hits them or until they think you're insane.
- Use it as a step stool for getting into hard to reach places.
- Fill it with rocks and use it as a free weight for exercise.

Top 5 Musical Endeavors
I am still in the mood for music, like always, so I will be discussing my top 5 concerts. I have seen about 80ish bands live, a list I may post at another time. Concerts are my favorite past time. Just being engulfed in the loud music and crowds of people make it worth while. I like every type of concert as well. Small venues with a small group of people are fun for relaxing and just enjoying the music. Large venues with huge masses of people are fun for going crazy and screaming at the top of your lungs. I've been to a good mix of both and I think that is what keeps me enjoying them. For example, I've been to a lot of metal concerts, which involves me being pushed away from mosh pits, squished against the front fence, and getting multiple bruises all over my body. I love metal but if every concert I went to was this way I would not be able to fully enjoy the music due to the fact that my body will hate me. So this list is in no particular order because each one is in the top 5 for different reasons.
- Slipknot: January 30th, 2009.
- Blue October: October 7th, 2010.
- Rob Zombie: November 22nd, 2009.
- Mushroomhead: November 7th, 2010.
- Paramore: May 7th, 2010
I've also been to a handful of music festivals but there are only two that stick out in my mind that would deserve a spot on the list. But because I can, I am giving them their own list. The best festivals I have ever been to are:
- Warped Tour 2007
- Ozzfest 2006

Justin Furstenfeld
In the spirit of my last post, here are some pictures for the number one spot on my list. These are pictures from the Blue October concert I went to in October. This concert is in my list of Top 5 concerts I ever went to (that list will be posted at a later date). They will always be one of my favorite bands, Justin is a truly amazing artist.
What to do on a Friday
First off, I have completed at least one goal from my list of short term goals.
Run 2.5 miles tomorrow and do a shit ton of sit ups
Now for today, music is very important to me. I play a few instruments and pretty much always have music playing. I have a lot of favorite bands and I listen to every type of genre. So i usually go in phases of what I listen to. I love listening to new music as well and bands that are just getting started. I respect any artist trying to make it doing what they love. I remember when I saw Kill Paradise and Swimming with Dolphins in concert there was a total of 8 people there, including me and my boyfriend who I forced to come with me. I know if it were me up on that stage and I looked out to see 8 people I would be so discouraged but these guys don't even seem to notice the lack in crowd. So, In the last week this is what I have listened to the most:
- Into the Ocean by Blue October
- Love Story by Taylor Swift
- Ride by Tyr
- The One that Got Away by Katy Perry
- Sugar by System of a Down
- L'ours by Tricot Machine
- 2:22 by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
- If I Had You by Adam Lambert
- Cardiology by Good Charlotte
- BYOB by System of a Down

Changes
I would consider myself a very organized person, and I don't like to waste my time. I often change my mind about many different things. I've decided that this blog is going to be a trial run. If I get a certain number of page views and followers within this month, I will continue. If not, I will either be rid of it or just let it sit. So help me out! If you like what I say let me know, if not let me know. Just anything would be lovely.
Anyways, my list for today incorporates my short term goals for the next couple of weeks.
- Pass my math test tomorrow with flying colors
- Pass my French test on Friday undoubtedly
- Run 2.5 miles tomorrow and do a shit ton of sit ups
- Do something exciting this weekend
- Turn in my English portfolio and pass that
- See Chevelle in concert for the hell of it and maybe Cake
- Do not get frostbite!
- Study and then pass all my finals
Also my friend sent me this video yesterday, Its pretty cute/ funny but mostly just random.
